Qualifications:
· Clear Driver’s License (no more than 3 points)
· High School or Technical School Diploma (or equivalent)
· Compliance with all DOT regulations and requirements.
· Physical agility to handle various tasks, including climbing, bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 80 pounds
· Must be able to work in varying temperature and environmental conditions, including high heat, humidity, below freezing temperatures, and moderate noise levels (such as a construction site)
· 2 or more years’ experience in telecommunications, data networking, security, electrical, or related fields.
· Strong understanding of telecommunications systems, data networking, and VoIP technology.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to hear and communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders effectively in a verbal environment.
· Ability to install and troubleshoot copper, fiber optic, coax, and AV wire cabling systems
Well Qualified Candidates will have:
· BICSI or equivalent certifications
· 5 years industry experience
Job Responsibilities:
· Travel, including possible overnight stays
· Plan network installations, assess installation sites, and prepare installation diagrams
· Establish voice and data networks by running, pulling, terminating, and splicing cables
· Document networks by labeling equipment, recording configuration diagrams, and maintaining equipment inventory
· Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and repairs on communication systems
· Collaborate with IT professionals and departments for efficient communication across the organization
· Maintain customer rapport by addressing concerns and answering questions
· Ensure a clean and safe working environment by following codes and standards
